Really. There must be something wrong with my stuff then, because I'm almost positive that I tried the digital thing and I got some error. I'll have a look at it this afternoon.

make sure you have the survival guide patches installed (sticky in the support forum), then configure your digital source, run your channel scan and map your channels. if I didn't post it before, you need to be following this wiki page: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource

also, since you'll be tuning us hd channels, you'll need a hd-capable mpeg-2 video decoder such as http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm (the mpeg decoder built-in to XP will not work), and a AC3 audio decoder such as http://www.ac3filter.net

editL and of course, if you get an error then post your logs

johnsonx42, you my friend, are full of information Wink I'll give all this all a look t'nite and let you know what I've worked out. I have a feeling that you may have helped me fix my problem. I didn't know anything about patches or that other stuff. thanks!

PS. I was just looking at that link about the patches. which patches exactly do I need to apply? there are a few things there that I don't think apply to me..thanks again.
