OK, changed the config to 640x576 and that makes no difference. So, are you saying I need to rerun the NMTInstall and set it to 576 instead of 720?

NMTInstall doesn't make a difference at this point. Did you try twice or restart the recording service?

I found on my 33" CRT TV I had a huge amount of overscan even though I had selected 576 when I installed, I know Martin isn't a fan of it but I used the MVP Position tool off the wiki as a guide to get mine right. Below is what I finished up with, as you can see it had quite a lot of offset to get it right.

<MAC-0006DCxxxxxx>
<MVPSendIncrementalUpdates>true</MVPSendIncrementalUpdates>
<MVPClientType>PCH2</MVPClientType>
<MVPWidth>564</MVPWidth>
<MVPHeight>532</MVPHeight>
<MVPOffsetX>40</MVPOffsetX>
<MVPOffsetY>24</MVPOffsetY>
</MAC-0006DCxxxxxx>

Stopped and restarted the RS a number of times but no changes.
Does the MVP position tool effect anything else? May give it a try.

The MVP Position tool is just one dll that you copy into plugins (I can't remember exactly where it goes but it tells you on the wiki).

I didn't let it change anything I just took a note of the numbers it displayed & then edited them manually with notepad in my config under my MAC address. After I had finished I just moved the dll out of plugins to uninstall it.

Actually Jaggy I am a fan of the MVP Position tool, but too many people use it incorrectly. Even yours looks wrong.

Instead of messing things up with that tool, I think I'll leave good enough alone. I can use the menu with some patience and everything else looks good so I'm going to quit before I break something else. It's really not a big deal and I've already taken up enough of people's time with this.
Thanks for all the help. The PCH and GBPVR do what I need it to do.

In what way does it look wrong?

It is well worth the time & effort getting it displaying the menus right as things look a heap better after you do.

My bad luck continues then. Adding the MVP screen tool dll to the plugins folder does not show it in the config plugins.

It doesn't meet the rule 2 x offset + dimension being equal to max width or height.

Edit: another rule 9 plugins on the main menu only.
