No need to apologize, my initial post was a bit too brusque. I was just trying to explain that it's tricky to try to figure out a problem from the logs, so no one wants to wade into old logs and get told they no longer apply. Adding more info is always the way to go.

It's just way too easy to get on some people's bad sides in help-forums. But this is all good, all very very good; thank you.

Big Grin I downloaded and installed WinTV v6 form http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/su...intv6.html. When I started the installation, it provided an option to install supported drivers. Mine were likely older so I did that first. After the rest of the installation, WinTV worked fine. So I turned back to GBPVR-LiveTV and sure enough, it worked fine too!!! Very weird indeed! The device manager shown that my Hauppauge PVR350-II was functioning properly but I now doubt that was true.

Now that GBPVR is displaying LiveTV, I have high hopes everything's fine. I started recording a test-program. If I can play that in another half hour when the recording is done, than all is perfectly well once again. Otherwise, I'll post what happened with more logs.

Thank you Sub, Dennit, and Snooze for putting up with me!

Great - thats good news.

I'm sure it was some non-functioning drivers, corrected when you installed WinTV.

Ha, I've been using it for over a year now :p.

Error Logging needs to be improved and the default skinning system is quite dated. Regardless, if everything is running well, GBPVR is a fantastic program.

I still can't choose a transcoding format when setting up a reocuring recording, but everything is getting auto-converted to WMV-700 so I wont run out of space. I'll have to look into that in a few weeks when I'm back from my charity work.
