Good news, glad I to help, and think it will get better too. I was a bit concerned that this was going to be one of those things that didn't run in the wild, now I am more comfortable that psycik's problem can be fixed.

Thats better, works now. Interesting to see if I start using the HD channels as at the moment I use our DVB-S - cos with movies I'll sometimes grab them, cut the ads and convert them to mp4s.

Awesome job martin, I have no need for an A210 now!! well until the A100 dies.

Great stuff Martin. Apparently Brazil, Portugal, Israel, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom so maybe other users will give you files. Seems like the mediatank forum are happy about it too!

Thanks for the follow, psycik with this I think the 100 series is a better NPVR client than I can imagine the 200 becoming.

@k, one of the things I like about the NPVR forum, is that there is the international twist. I would have thought HK DMB-T broadcasts would use HE-AAC too. The focus in Windows Media Centre, SageTV, and BeyondTV, which I looked at years ago was (and is) so focused on the US commercial markets (boring MPEG/AC3 and now Netflix, Hulu) that the different systems can actually be interesting.

Tried all four UK HE-AAC channels, three are working absolutely fine, BBC HD is breaking up and losing sound, but I think that's because it's a bit higher bandwidth and I'm also moving stuff off the usb drive plugged into the a100 so the network port's a bit congested, I'll give it another go once that's finished. Thank you Martin, a truly stunning effort that puts Syabas to shame.

I use JIT (just-in-time) decoding of the audio to try and preserve sync, meaning it gets converted and sent to hardware buffer with a minimum amount of buffering so I can imagine that you need the NMT's full attention. If the problem continues when everything else is idle run telnet to your PCH and run the top command to find the CPU utilization.

Also there is a possibility that 5:1 is muddled in general. I have one sample (that you may have provided) that does handle the transition for AAC 6 to 2 channel but the sound is much better as two channel. I can't any player on the PC or on any of my media extenders that play the 6 channel well, so there might be a problem in the source.

Yeah, I thought I "had" seen it somehwere for our flavour of DMB-T (it is DMB-TH), but when I looked it only really showed AC3.

One thing I have found with this new dongle, is that by default the pch when playing a video starts in a fill or justified mode, rather than a fixed or actual size. So when I start a video I have to hit the aspect button twice to get the picture to how it should be. Happened on 720p and 576p video.
