I'm going to take a wild guess.

Vertically the problem is located where there is a gradient: the recording stripe in the timeline, the line where your cursor is located, a displayed line where you have something scheduled. In all cases, if it did not error out, it would be a small blip on the left side or right side of the guide.

Since I'm assuming there's nothing I can do to fix or prevent it, I just switched to XGuide for the moment...it seems to not get hung on the same output error. It's a pretty hard lockup when you hit it (keyboard/remote do not work), so I figure this is the only way to keep from some future WAF run-in.

I have found and corrected the issue for the next release. If its causing serious problems for anyone, you can apply the attached patch.

Thanks. Was it something that a non-progammer would understand? Just curious.
What, me worry?

I just encountered "the TV Guide problem." I've tried to download the zip patch and keep getting an error stating to insert the "last disk." Another thing, the download size I am accomplishing is 334Kb and not the posted amount. Any solutions?

Nicjas, I'll assume that you're using Internet Explorer. Try using something else like Firefox. I've noticed that it can make a difference when downloading from the forums.

Try this:

Download the 334kb thing, change it to a .rar, open with winrar, extract the 224kb thing called gppvr, rename it gbpvr.zip, unzip that, and you are done.

It must not be a binary/ascii thing but winrar seems to know how to strip the rubbish away, and give you a workable zip file.

Just open the zip-file with winrar, select the "gbpvr-thing", then click on 'show' (I guess that's how it's called in english, it's the 4th button from the left) and jippieieieie it has opened the "thing".Smile
