Mhm..., wunderful the you got it to work. That the Tuning-Assistant is working, is wunderful.

Now tell us please, which Decoder you're using @ playback within GB-PVR. Open Config -> Playback and tell about the used Decoder. Or is it simply @ System Default? Try playing aroung, perhaps you have a piece of Crap decoder choosed.

Yes, once I get the tuning straight it will be perfect. The decoder chosen is Intervideo Non CSS Video decoder. Is there another one I should get?

Thanks!

Nono, your decoder should be perfect. Mhm..., another question: On Config you can choose 4 different Display-Modes:

VMR9, VMR9 Custom, VMR7 and Overlay.

Which one did you choosed? Does it help, if you try another one? Step by Step, test them all and report please.

It sounds/looks like the tuner in your capture device isnt managing to correctly lock onto your channel. A couple of things you could try:

1) Try a different version of the drivers for your capture device. Other versions may be better tweaking the tuner to lock the channels.
2) Try entering the channel frequency instead of the channel number.

One other thing I noticed is that I i hit the 'video decoder settings' button, it gives you a capture button window when I hit the 'capture' button I get a failure message that says 'Failed -80004005-' Any idea what thins means?

Try a different driver than the million I have tried from hauppauge? I have installed several drivers from hauppauge to no avail. Are there others?

How do I enter the frequency instead of the channel?

I really cant thany you enough for all the tips.... but here goes again just in case...Thanks!

What video decoder was it? Some dont have settings, but generally shouldnt give you an error if you try.

Most people just use the newest beta drivers from http://www.shspvr.com/smf. They tend to be slightly newer than the ones posted on the Hauppauge site.

Just type it in. For example, instead of '3', you might enter 95000000.
