I had the same problem until I created a sub-directory within the plugins directory and dropped the dll in that; after that it appeared in the config tool.

When I do this, I get an 'error loading plugin list' message and all plugins in config disappear.
I must have a very freaky setup or it could just be that I'm running this in W7 x64 and it's not meant to be.

Paul don't bother, just run something safer like 580 520 40 18 and it probably will be ok.

Actually that has been niggling in the back of my mind ever since I set up my NMT. I have /etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2 -m pal --emulate 192.168.0.150 & in my startmeup file, correct?

564+40=604 (for pal should be 640?)
564+24=556 (for pal should be 576?)

but these are the sizes I need to get the menus to fit my TV??

Quote:Edit: another rule 9 plugins on the main menu only.

Huh? from my calcs there are 10 built in plugins which means you can't have any other plugins (actually you need to disable one of the defaults)??

Oddly enough on another system also running W7 x64, adding to the plugins forlder does work. I'll see how far I get with that one.

Are they both running the same version of W7? e.g. one is RC, the other RTM.

You are right, the problematic one is RTM while the other is RC. You wouldn't think it would be so different as far as this is concerned but obviously something is.

@Jaggy I;ve mentioned before that I have no idea what sub does with these because his defaults don't match my understanding but your are close to how intrepret it but over since it is 2x offset

564+80=644 I think 560 is better
532+48=580 I think 536 + 20

@everyone else with the new Exit Option, everyone trying the Weather plugin and MLPanel I think we are starting to see too many items (not plugins sorry) on the main menu.

Alright guys, I'm good now. Another thanks to all for hanging in there (just sent sub $25, I should send each of you the same......but, sorry, gotta save for more beer).
My final settings that work best for me are:
MVPOutput>1</MVPOutput>
<MVPWidth>640</MVPWidth>
<MVPHeight>500</MVPHeight>
<MVPOffsetX>44</MVPOffsetX>
<MVPOffsetY>40</MVPOffsetY>

Don't ask me why, but it works and I'm going to grab some beer and crabs!!!!
