If the problem is on the GB-PVR side of things, then I'm happy to look into it once we start the pre-release testing for the next version.

sub, I'll email some thoughts.

OrakleJos, maybe try cutting out the the first 5 seconds or so to at least confirm resume will work. If I remember correctly I think mpgtx will do this with the command line option [0:05-] I'm not sure if it handles h264 though, I guess you will find out.

No, it does not support H.264 Sad

I edited the chunk file by taking the last 90MB from the 100MB with the CutChunk program so the effect is the same as if cutting the starting part. A quick check shows that resume now seems to work. Have not yet found a simple tool to cut off the 5-10 seconds from the start of a TS file. If somebody has any suggestions I can try it on the gigabyte files and check if this indeed the reason for the malfunction of the resume function. If that is the case then my proposal in #35 could be the solution.

TSDoctor used to be able to chop the beginning and end from a TS file
Worked for UK h264 files - it gets regular version changes, so I'm not sure of its current status.

Thanks, that did the trick! I just used FIX to get rid of the scrambled packages at the start of the file.

Martin: with the scrambled packages removed from the start of the file the resume now works without problems.
May I therefore suggest to discus with Sub my solution as mentioned in posting #35? Should not be that difficult to implement I believe Big Grin

How about this solution?

Code:
setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\devnz\TSMuxBlockEncryp ted=1 (DWORD) will cause the TS Mux to discard encrypted packets rather than writing them to the file being recorded.
