Thanks for the speedy work on getting the Archiver plugin working in the new version, Jeff! I'm using it now and it looks great.

I've got one request for a future version: a setting to choose the default sort direction. I like to sort my shows with the oldest at the top and the plugin seems to sort the opposite by default. I'm grateful for the option to re-sort them, but the option to choose the default sort direction would be nice.

Thanks again...

Now managed to upgrade (Installed SP1 for .NET 1.1 and MDAC 2.8), rebooted and 98% Kernal CPU use, 2mins later Blue Screen with 0x76 - PROCESS_HAS_LOCKED_PAGES.

Any ideas?

We tested Mdac 2.8 and SP1 for .NET on version 0.22 with no problems, its the upgrade isnt releasing something somewhere. Thing is we cant find which process at this point (not shown in the Processes list, it is shown in the CPU chart though).

Ashley
P.S. We are going to enter registry value "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\TrackLockedPages to a DWORD 1" and find out which driver this is??? will this help?

We are using OEM driver at the moment for PVR350 (Windows 2000 SP4 on i845 chipset)

I cant explain the blue screen, that sounds like some driver or system stability problem, but there was a fix for high CPU usage on PVR350. For details please see the first post here: http://gbpvr.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=5;t=35

Hopefully this will also correct your blue screen in the process.

Righty o...

Installed new (6meg) mpeg file, restarted had abit of a wizzy 2 mins of a blue screen on the TV out (was a BLUE screen, not a crash). That sorted itself.

Everything now works (no 2000 Crash and no 100% CPU). I have yet to restart again (will do in about 15 hours time), if it starts then with no problems then it was the MPEG file (odd that).

Still on OEM drivers, should i upgrade to the newer ones on the net for the PVR350 or stay with the OEM from hauppage website?

Many Thanks
Ashley

I've posted a minor update that adds the ability to set defaults for the sort orders to http://www.bladerhq.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...eoArchiver

I just upgraded to the new version of GBPVR from the previous version which was working perfectly. Now GBPVR will not open and I cannot uncheck any of the plug ins when I enter the config either. Any ideas???

OK - I disabled the plugin causing the problem (video archive) and now have another problem. When I try to use the TV guide functionality it says "Error - An object is not set for an instance of this object" Any ideas???

Hello Sub.

I have the same problem with the hight CPU usage, but when I try to follow you link I got this message "Sorry, some required files are missing, if you intended to view a topic, it's possible that it's been moved or deleted. Please go back and try again."

Can you help me ?

This link on high CPU usage only relates to v0.23.8, and only if you're using the TV out on a PVR350. If you're running v0.23.8, then upgrade to v0.23.11. If you're already running v0.23.11, then post a new topic with all the details.
