Lets see

1 MVP server set to run, I tried starting a second via "GB-PVR MediaMVP Server" but it doesn't help.

"Hauppauge MVP software" set to disabled under services.

PC was configurated the same with 96.12 which worked ok (a couple of mvp reboots required after a pc reboot to deal with video freezes)

installed GBPVR into a clean directory

PC runs Windows 2000, 756 Meg, 2xNova-T 90002, AMD 1800+

When Video does run (the first time after a reboot) it works well and seems to come up quicker than 96.12.

Cheers

Did you disable both Hauppauge services? MVPMedia and MVPMediaSvc

Same problem for me. Videos play fine until I power the MVP off then on.
Black screen after that until I reboot my GBPVR server.
I am using the latest patch in this thread.
Let me know if you want a log.

Edit:

This is intermittent. I do not see a pattern yet.

If someone with this problem is on broadband, and can temporarily enable VNC access, I'd like to connect and take a look.

Damn. I'll have to have a play around with it again. Is there any merit in trying to send you separate logs for when it's playing the 17/05/06 vs. 20/05/06 patch? (I haven't tried the 21/05/06 one, but assume it is same as 20/05/06).

I've tested comskip with the latest patch and it seemed fine.

The patch works fine for me thus far. I won't know for a couple of days if it is a complete solution, but it is certainly better. Remember, you have to power off MVP, apply the patch, reboot your PC, and turn the power back on to MVP.
