Sub has a transcode option in the video library.

I was just wondering if Sub might have an existing API that would enable you to add this existing functionality to skiptool so that your transcoding requests are handled by gbpvr?

just a thought.

[edit: ah but this would only use the ffmpeg commands from config.xml and not use statiks script.]

I ended up writting a simple queue to handle the requests. The queue can be started from the plugin directly (and it then exits when done) or can be added to the windows task queue.

I think it's ready for beta testing at this point. Any takers?

Yep - I'm happy to give it a test drive when I get home later today.

installed
running transcode as we speak... might take a while, the old AMD XP chips are not very fast at transcoding.

queueit.exe should be started minimised if possible.

looking good so far!

I'll set the minimize flag. thx.
The script that you have isn't set to clean up the old files and it renames the original file so both are kept.
That should probably be changed, but I didn't want to ship it out that way since if there is a script error you lose the original.
When you cut commercials it doesn't clean up the txt file without changing the setting and that causes trouble.

The installation script for burndvdx2 and skiptool puts wizuihelper in the gbpvr root dir. The version is an older version and will cause trouble with other plugins that use wizuihelper. The correct spot is plugins/common. This will be fixed in the next release.

Hi Pastro,
I tried the new version, and it works really good ! Much easier to use now with this auto mode, certainly via the MVP.

I just tried an xvid/2 pass conversion and mencoder doesn;t appear to run (it just ends immediately). A single xvid pass appears to be running ok. Will probably finish on friday with this cpu...

this is with the latest burndvdx2 release. Am I right in assuming that this includes that latest skiptool?
