Um in the stupid questions category... I took for granted that having .Net 3 SP1 would be sufficient for GBPVR. I did not install .NET 1.1 or .Net2. I actually uninstalled .NET2 concerned with a conflict. Can I assume .Net3SP1 is sufficient. Should I go get .Net3.5?

I did a clean install of gbpv after having problems with .Net. It's the only issue I encountered. New/clean build, OS, everything. I reinstalled the Hauppauge drivers from the CD which I confirmed to be the latest drivers after MS found and installed a driver by default. Still crashing.
Where exactly is it crashing for you?

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I open Config. Select Capture Sources. Click Add. The Create Capture Source window opens. With Direct Recording Plugin selected I click the Setting button to the right of it. Under Capture Card Type I check "Only show devices shown in this machine" and the Config.exe process terminates. No messages or warnings. It's just gone. No event logs display.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look. (ie config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log)

I'm not generating those logs in the \gbpvr folder. Is there somewhere else I should look or do?

Log files get created in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\logs.

Sorry. I found the logs folder. Here you go. There are several iterations.

I've attached a patch that'll produce more logging in the error your problem occurs. Apply the patch, then reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs again.

Logs attached but I have to tell you that seemed to fix my issue. It's no longer crashing. I'll continue with the Quickstart guide and see how far I get while keeping an eye on this thread for any further instructions.

Can't tell you how much I appreciate the support with the holidays crashing around my head. Thanks.
