Ok,

Here is version 0.46 this has NES added using nestopia version 1.35

I also found a bug which resulted in a message "selected index" error.
Thanks to my daughter who managed to fit in some testing today for me.

Image will be added in the next package release.

Feedback as usual is appreciated both bugs and confirmation that it is working.

Thanks

ok, well i finally got the brunt of my problems worked out. Thanks for your assistance.

I tried to upgrade and as soon as i dropped the new dll in, and went to the config, i get hit with an error.

"error loading plugin list: system.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instace of an object.
at GameZone.Gamezone.Config.gamezoneconfigForm.ePSXeLoadConfig()
at GameZone.Gamezone.Config.gamezoneconfigForm.GameZoneConfigForm_Load()
at GameZone.Gamezone.Config.gamezoneconfigForm..ctor(xmldocument document)
at GameZone.Gamezone.gamezonetask.getconfigForminstance (xml document document).
at config.xfd6951461fe46d87.x81464aef82823e23()

i drop in the .45 dll and it works flawlessly.

on a totally different note: I saw you use HIP to send decimal to GBPVR. ive been trying to get it to stop with standard commands, but i think that Project64 and SNES only allow themselves to recieve input, therefore blocking the translation of the remote signal to keyboard signal.
how it should be
remote->remote signal->convert to keyboard program->send keyboard to gbpvr->gbpvr sends to gamezone

how i think its working
remote->remote signal->project64
and ends there. Back when i was using WinLIRC i had a similar problem and couldnt figure it out. Would the easiest way to be to install HIP for that one little thing or is there a different workaround?

Seems you are not having a good time with GameZone, if its my fault I apoligise prior to working out whats wrong. I develop gamezone on my desktop and move it to my main living room machine prior to sending it out, I figure by doing this it should capture most issues arising from dropping in a new dll.

If you are interested in resolving the current exception issue then please send me the config.exe.log from the /logs directory, because of the error you are seeing I would also send the GameZone Plugin section within the config.xml or the whole file.

Which remote do you use? if its the MCE remote then running HIP is really useful to me as it supports more buttons than the native GBPVR for the MCE remote.
You are correct in assuming it works by sending the key to GBPVR, Gamezone declares the mappings and instigates the closure of the running Emulator. you could try sending keystrokes directly to the running emulator which is how the hauppauge remote deals with the issue but it may mean more keys and more work.

cheers

Sorry, I just noticed this post, that is really strange I dont see why its trying to add the N64 path information below the Kega directory.
if you look in the following directory:
C:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\gamezone\paths\

for every rompath that is configured you should see a directory for the System.

i.e. Kega or N64 or Mame

in each of these directories you will see a file that has the name that was provided as 'Name' in the Rompath section.

So from what you have told me so far I would have expected to see that you had a directory/file structure similar to this

/Paths/N64/N64
/Paths/ZSnes/ZSnes

cheers

If you can give me your gamezone section of your config.xml file that will assist me with diagnosing the issue

Thanks

I don't have ePSXe installed or enabled in the configuration. Nothing has changed other than replacing the dll with the new one. I tried going back to the .45 dll, and it works fine now. Okay I set myself up similar to you and observed an error which would have been introduced a 2/3 releases ago, ironically it was code to trap a potential error that was causing the issue.

Please try this patch and see if I have located your particularly problem.

Thanks

Ok the patch I just uploaded 0.46a is worth a shot as your problem is in the same area and may just be a slightly different symtom of the same bug. let me know how that goes.

For the hauppauge look at this thread as someone (Pastro) I think has got the Hauppauge setup really well to use gamezone he goes direct to the emulators. I have an MCe remote so I have different requirements and I am unable to test with a hauppauge.
