Hi
Im fairly new to the whole gbpvr thing, i was recommended it by a friend as an alternative to MCE, so far im not dissapointed, managed to get my Hauppage Nova T DVB (9002) working and recording no probs.
I am now trying to set up a second card KWorld DVB-T 100 card also... .. .
after some editing of the bda.ini file i have been able to get gbpvr to recognise it is there although it will not allow me to tune it....always comes up with an error message : ... failed to load capture device. I think the problem is because in graphedit under BDA receiver components there is no registered driver? (tho the hauppage 1 is there).. there is a video capture located under the "video capture sources" although the hauppage one is not the same as the bda.ini. . . which leads me to believe that it is not the correct 1.

I have heard that there maybe some conflicts with using two cards but iove also seen many threads which say they have multiple cards working relatively hassle free.
If any one could help or has any suggestion they'd be greatfully received.
(apologies for the waffling question but im not particularly up to speed on gbpvr and graphedit etc...)

Winxp corp, amd xp 2.2gig, 768mb ram (pc2100), 2x 80gig sata hdd's, radeon 9000 pro2, win tv nova-t, and hopefully a KWorld dvbt-100!?

I have no idea what the problem might be, but I'd try to install the cards separately first, to see if I could get them both going independently of each other...

Ta,
i think im setting up a second video server for somebody so i think i'll try and get the Kworld working independantly on that 1. . . but i would be good if i could use both in same pc.... then recordingf and watching would be brilliant.

thanks for the response tho.. . this Gbpvr is fantastic i cant believe it is so easy and well supported.

If you get them to work each by itself, I have no doubt that they will work happily together on the same machine =)

Did you set them both as device #1? They need to be.

Finally ive managed to get it. The problem was the hauppage drivers had taken hold of one of the KWorld driver slot and simply said Hauppage spare slot (or somethin like that), So ive fiddled with drivers and changed em about..... to a point where im not even sure where the came from! but it is working now....althoughh it does get some probs of freezing up not recognizing either card occaisionally, but im sure i'll resolve these issues..

is there any way i can set my KWorld card to be the recording card and use the hauppage one for viewing??? as the KWorld one seems to take a lot longer to do anything.

thanks for your help any way

GBPVR uses the cards from the top of the list and down for recording, and from the bottom of the list and up for livetv. You need to add them in the order you want them; you can't reorder them afterwards...
