chirp during playback

I also tried it with nero and it did the same thing in the same spot and added another one a few second later

i tried the ac3 filter and it happened at the same time place that it did before
watching the same program

Thats interesting, I would have thought it was likely to be a playback problem, rather than a recording. If its always at the same place in the recording, then I'm not really sure. Sorry - I dont know. It must have been in the MPEG2 stream produced by your capture card.

i have also tried running retime on the file and the noise is still there
