I cant see any difference in the picture myself, but I'll take your word for it. The same VMR9 component is still generating the picture. The only difference is the VRM9 Custom render uses Direct3D to draw the frame to the screen rather than the default method used by VMR9.

The difference isn't really big and can be, because i am currently watching at my CRT only 30cm away from screen.

But the most important thing: This one works! But like you mentioned, only with VMR9 Custom; the normal VMR9 doesn't work with this new native.dll

hmm, the normal VMR9 should work the way it always has. What exactly happened when you tried to use it? Can you post the logs?

I don't think that this is needed.

Before:
VMR9 AND VMR9 Custom didn't work right @ Aspect Ratio

After your Patch:
VMR9 Custom works good! VMR9 hasn't changed; if i try to change Aspect Ratio, then i'll get Garbage on Screen.

But if you want my log, just say which specific and what i should do. LiveTV? DVD? MPEG-2? AVI Container? All together?

This patch can only be applied to v0.97.9.

Last time I used the VMR9 Custom Renderer it appeared to use less CPU (which was nice) but it also seemed to ignore my video position and scaling numbers in the xml configuration file. I believe the settings where HorizontalOffset, VerticalOffset, HorizontalZoom, and VerticalZoom. Not in front of my computer right now but I believe those are the names of the xml tags. Is the VMR9 Custom Renderer supposed to use those ?
