Nvidia 7800GT, ForceWare v84.21. GBPVR v09709
After installing new NativeUtilities.dll, aspect ratio problem fixed with VMR9 Custom renderer. Nice one. NVidia have just released their new v9131 ForceWare with the new control panel bloat. Just about to download and see what terrors that inflicts. Yay!

sub Wrote:Sorry, I dont think there is anything I could really change that would help that. Can I suggest everyone with this problem submit a assistance request at nvidia here http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidi...td_alp.php They might then get the message that there is a problem. Here is a suggested desciption of the problem to report. When using 6200agp/pci-e, 6600, 6600GT and 7600pci-e graphics cards in combination with the purevideo decoder video corruption occurs using the VMR9 renderer. The bug occurs using the VMR9 renderer, with hardware accelleration is enabled, and IVMRMixerControl9->SetOutputRect() is called with a rect other than 0,0,1,1. The area of the screen that should end up showing the video is filled with garbage, with the exception of the top left corner which displays a small version of the video. It can be reproduced easily in graphedit by playing back interlaced mpeg2 video and adjusting the size x or y sliders to a value other than 1.0 on the vmr9 filter config tab. Some Internet Explorer users have a problem downloading zip file attachments from this webserver. Try using another browser, or possibly opening the zip file using WinRar

Try using another browser, or possibly opening the zip file using WinRar Sub, I know you're busy, but with this and the notifications working erratically, maybe it's time to update the forum software. Maybe there's a new version that fixes the bugs? Also I don't know your current arrangments, but maybe somebody could volunteer to look after the forum? (don't look at me, I'm too tied up ).

Eventually I'll move the forum over to the new gbpvr.com server. In the meantime, these things will just have to stay broken. I couldnt give you any indication of timeframe though - sometime in the next few months.

Mhhm..., sub... i have a small problem:
Using latest GB-PVR with your Patch. Using ForceWare 81.98 WHQL, DX 9.0c (latest version from June), DxVA, PureVideo, GeForce 6150, PAL 768 x 576 x 25 FP/s I can view different aspect ratio's now with this one (VMR9 Custom Renderer), but on Auto or FillMode i have on the left and the right side black borders. Same happens if i use VMR9 Mode and wanna display TV within an Inset Panel within Mainmenu... It's not good looking and i stepped only over this, because i am skinning this one. It doesn't help too, if i change the zoom-levels within the config.xml. What could this be, sub? VMR9: TV works fantastic, only Inset has Blackborders Left and Right, but no Aspect Ratio changing. VMR9 Custom: TV has left and right black borders, even the InsetPanel, but Aspect Ratio changes wunderful. |
