Thanks for the link! I'll start digging around on Microsoft's site and see what I can come up with. Thanks again!

Ok, then...started out at a site that recommended installing the wmp9 codecs from MS. I downloaded that file (WM9Codecs.exe) and tried to install it. This resulted in the following error:
setup_wm.exe - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point GetUserGeoID could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll
Went to http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#wmp9 and checked out all that stuff. Still having issues. I think if I can figure out how to get the codecs to install (i.e. get past the Entry Point Not Found error), then I'll probably be good to go...

sub Wrote:You could always download depend.exe from http://www.dependencywalker.com/. Run it and open NativeUtilities.DLL and it should tell you what dependency is not being found. On Win2k its usually WMVCore.DLL or something similar. Ran this utility. Granted, I'm not 100% sure of what I'm looking at, but the only "issues" it seems to report are with these two DLLs:
D3D9.DLL APPHELP.DLL
I don't know what the first is used for. I doubt the second one is an issue, though, right?

Completely uninstalled wmp9. Installed DirectX9. Reinstalled wmp9. Started gbpvr config. No errors!
Thanks, everyone, for all your help. I really appreciate it! |
