It appears to have worked ! I am no longer able to crash service when connected from the office.

not even with (what I thoiught) a faulty css style sheet

A perfect example of how to fix a bug:-

reproduce the problem and post logs
diagnostic build to collect detailed infomation of problem
fix provided.

all in ~2 days, including TZ differences...

I just wanted to say i am sorry for posting a HELP! and then ditching the thread!
Its been busy lately (got a new job and am moving) and i havent had time to WATCH tv, let alone mess with the pvrbox.
Do you want me to try to get the logging running and post a log, or should i just skip directly to the patch?
