variable speed playback for videos playback

Will future version of GB-PVR include variable speed playback?

I have this feature on my LG DVD-recorder and I find it very useful! (PowerDVD also have this feature).

No, it probably wont. I have to depend on third party directshow filters for playing back media files, and these make multi-speed fast forwarding or rewinding practically impossible. I just use skip for everything.
