stormarmy55 Wrote:I just started receiving this same error message. I have been having a really hard time setting up my second PVR150 card to work with my Digital STB. I finally decided that it is likely due to the fact that I had it linked through coax cable, not s-video. So i went out and purchased an s-video cable, and hooked up the STB to the pvr-150. Now everytime I try to record or watch TV I get the "active refusal" message discussed aboce. Is it possible that my STB itself has the outputs disabled? Or is this likely due to my antivirus? I have uninstalled my other PVR-150 analog card (just connected to cable) in hopes of simplifying this setup. When you get the error, check if GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log is running. If it is running, then its probably your firewall software getting in the way. If it isnt running, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look. I'd be looking to see if there was an error like the one I quoted in post #2. This would tell me if it was an error like the one being discussed in this thread.
