Hi,
GBPVR has been working well for us for a few months. Or system is not high spec (I recently upgraded the ram from 256MB to 768MB) but has been coping well until recently.
Over the last couple of weeks we have found that LiveTV (and occasionally playback of existing recordings) will stutter when the PVR's hard-disk is accessed from another PC. This occurs even when I use Windows explorer to view the contents of the disk - and becomes much worse if I try to read from / write to the disk.
As this is a new problem, I'm thinking that it must be related to the system's growth or its ongoing use; perhaps the disk is becoming too fragmented? or is there a database or other system file that might be slowing things down as it grows? (This sort of cause seems more likely than an issue related to codecs or DirectX version).
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
