Turner card not found

Because of problem caused by my tweaking the gb-pvr program, I removed and reloaded the program. After reinstalling the program it now cannot find or see my Hauppauge pvr500 card. I updated the cards drivers without success. Any suggestions as to what I might try would be greatly appreciated

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Thanks for the offer sub, unfortunately because it does not recognize my pvr500, I am unable to install the program and cannot generate a log.

Please clarify, are you saying windows doesnt recognise your PVR500, or GB-PVR does recognise your PVR500? If its the latter, then it should generate logs.

It is the latter, could you tell me how to generate a log?

As soon as you run any of the GB-PVR software it generates logs. For example, running the config app will generate a config.exe.log and a config.exe-native.log. Run the config and try to setup your capture sources, then zip and attach these files and I'll take a look.

Last question, I hope. Could you please tell me where to locate the log after it's been generated?

Just zip and attach any *.log in C:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\

Sounds like the gbpvr.mdb is the problem? What did you do to tweak GB?

I tried to add TV guide supercharger. When things didn't work out, I uninsulated the program. When I tried to re-install it, it would not show my PVR500 card or allow me to add it.
