I've used GBPVR for the past few weeks and have everything figured out but stuttering or hesistation every few seconds when I "catch-up". Its a simpe config;
PVR150MCE (latest drivers - what drivers should I be using?).
XP Pro
3.0Ghz P4D
2GB RAM
NVIDIA 256meg 7600
NVIDIA PureVideo
FFDSHOW
Reclock (to do jitter correction -- otherwise things won't sync -- this is NOT the problem -- with DirectSound/Waveout the same issue occurs).
If I pause the LiveTV (in encode-pass through) and then unpause it, everything is perfect. The issue only occurs when I hit ctrl+o to catch-up and watch current TV. This also occurs if I disable LiveTV mode and always use time shift mode.
Its obviously not a performance issue....? I have the horsepower. GBPVR has subtitles disabled (since that could be it according to my forum searches) and GBPVR is set at a High priority.
Could it be that the PureVideo decoder doesn't have a high priority? It just seems like there is some sort of starvation and the PVR150MCE ins't being consistent. Like I said, when I'm watching TV with a delay (not caught up) things work fine, no PureVideo works fine (On a seperate issue in time shift mode the PureVideo taskbar icon doesn't show up but GraphEdit confirms its running -- or so I believe).
Ideas?
Thanks, Dale
