Hello,

just starting to get to grips with all this.

perhaps some of you may be able to explain what I need to do now

I have a pvr350 connected to a telewest settop box via the svideo / composite connection.

so in effect I only have one channel as such which I thought was 200 (it seems to be in wintv) but when I record via gbpvr it seems to be 89

I understand that I need the redeye serial (which i dont have yet at the moment I use the telewest scheduler to force channel changes and only do manual recordings) to make my telewest box change channel, but what I don't understand is how the tv guide listings relate to the solitary incoming channel.

presumably the tv guide channel numbers need to be set to what the telewest box requires ie BBC1 = 101 BBC2 = 102
radio 6 = 909 etc

but do I have to do anything to map these to the solitary channel my tuner in effect receives via the svideo input socket ?

any explanations greatfully received
