I have two of these cards installed giving four tuners but Pinnacle only supports three tuners. i.e. the fourth tuner will not find channels.

Through various crashes in GB-PVR and installing and uninstalling tuners I have managed to get them all working but changing the channels setup in config for the last tuner is proving difficult.

Is it possible to "copy and paste" the channel setup from say Tuner 1 to Tuner4? I do not need different setup for each card.

What do you mean exactly? What is happening?

Pinnacle support have confirmed that they can only support three tuners. Whether this is a feature of the driver or the software I do not know.

The first card installed both tuners without problems.

The second card seemed fine in tuning Tuner1 but Tuner2 caused GB-PVR to crash.

It's hard to remember exactly how it happened but I think if I saved the config with all four tuners installed then uninstalled Tuner1 I could tune Tuner2. However I did it, after yet another crash I reinstalled all four tuners and the channel information was there!!!

I would now reccommend not installing two of these cards in one PC but since I already have them can I copy the channel info from one to the other?

There is no way to copy capture sources. They only take a minute or two setup, so I wasnt worried about having a feature to do this.

Even if Pinnacle only support three tuners, there should be nothing stopping you from setting up your capture source with it list of channels etc... The card is not used when you're setting up the capture source. Its only used when you go to watch live tv or do a recording, so if it was going crash, it'd be when you're doing one of these activities.

Thanks anyway, Sub. I can work with it as it is. I only need to remember not to change that last tuner.
