Well - I definetly have an issue running two cards. One works fine - two and it`s "aye carumba"

In Device-manager I see only one crossbar filter. At the moment I have a whole bunch of recordings to do so I`ve switched back to Mythtv.

I think I will add my two bits to this thread http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=9517

I see this as being more a driver issue - not an app issue.

Fresh install this morning - current drivers from Hauppauge using their installer and so far both cards are working well.

Hopefully I don`t break it Smile

Just to keep you updated.
All three HVR-1300 cards I have are working properly under Hauppauge software. Unfortunatly not on GBPVR.
I tested analogue tuners again since sometime DVB-T signal gets weak on some channels.

GBPVR 0.99.5 don't solves the problem but I think it wasn't on the list of things to care of.

There wasnt anything I was trying to fix relatng to this. From memory your problem was caused by the mixed up order of the filters on your multi-HVR1300 setup.

I know that and I agree with you but I don't know why Hauppauge WinTV2000 works perfectly. Don't worry I will survive anyway. Thanks for the awesome 99.5 release!

Finally I did it!
The trick is:
Take note where MAC ADDR (see the sticker on the board) of each board and the number of PCI slot in wich is in.
Open regedt32 and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\PCI\VEN_14F1&DEV_8800&SUBSYS_96000070&REV_05
(for HVR-1300 mce)
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\PCI\VEN_14F1&DEV_8800&SUBSYS_96010070&REV_05
(or something similar for HVR-1300)
By selecting subfolders look at parameters inside:
ParentIdPrefix (which is the MAC ADDR)
and
UINumber (The PCI slot)
Get the permission to modify (Edit-> Permissions ... Modifica -> Autorizzazioni in italian)
Change the value of ParentIdPrefix in order to have MAC ADDR - PCI slot matching.
The MAC ADDR should be kept from ParentIdPrefix value of other boards.
Don't forget to change permissions back to previous state (Edit-> Permissions ... Modifica -> Autorizzazioni in italian)

See attached pdf

Good luck!

Hi all,
I follow the istruction posted by dfdario, but my second hauppauge hvr-1300 (analog parts) still not work. I don't know the reason, but my MAC ADDR (sticker on the board) has 12 letters, for example:"000DFE0C9C40" in the first card, and "000DFE0CAD8F" in the second one (my hvr-1300 card are the new version, the ones with the black remote). In this case what are new values of ParentIdPrefix?
Thanks,
Massimo
