Actualy, can you guys that were having this problem email me at support@devnz.com. I'll email you a replacement GBPVRWriter.ax that I'll include in the next release. I want to be sure this one doesn't cause you any problems.

MY install also has the same problems: the 78Gb file. MPEG playout in GBPvr just hangs.
I have an AverMedia m150. Can I also receive the updated file? Can't seem to find any .15 versions. Thanks, Sam

yesterday i have a similar problem.
After LiveTV recorded about 1 hour suddenly LiveTV seams to hung. It was at the end of a movie my wife liked a lot.... So i had a little problem....... After switch tasks with ALT-TAB the LiveTV screen gets black.... The PC itself had no obvious problems. No CPU at 100% no RAM full no HD full..... Then the LiveTV app crashes and fortunately the livetv mpeg file was still on the HD, so my wife was able to see the end of the movie..... This happens the first time for me, could be because of i'm don't using livetv that much..... Unfortunately the logs didn't show any error. Because i've started another gbpvr task and the exe logs are overwritten. Perhaps it is a good idea to append log entries to the logs according to the recording log..... I don't know why the exe logs needs to be overwritten all the time.... regards mamema

Back to the 78Gb file problem. I changed the recording directory to just c: and everything worked fine. Any time I change it to anything with d:, I end up with the 78Gb file.

Sub,
I'm having this problem also. I don't know if you got my e-mail, replied, and my isp's spam filter deleted your reply. Where can I get the older file?

I've been away the last few days, and only got back last night. I'll find the file and email it to you.

Just tried live tv today, it said not enough space on the disk. I'm like, wtf, I haven't recorded anything. Turns out there's a 29GB livetv buffer on my drive!! Also I've noticed that when I tell GB to delete recordings it's not doing so. It'll take them out of the list but not actually delete the mpg file (thus wasting even more space). Hopefully that new version gets here soon and fixes these problems

The GBPVRWriter.ax file from v0.15 can be found at http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVRWriter.ax
Just download this older file and replace the one installed with the current version of GB-PVR. |
