how to stop it from playback on tv out

I'm trying to view live tv - using Hauppage 350. It says playing back on TV Out. I don't have anything connected to TV Out, I want to view it on the computer monitor. Any idea how to change that setting? I can't find anything. Thanks.

You need to set the 'hardware decoder' setting to 'none - use software decoding' (on the playback tab of the config app).

Not sure, as i don't own one of these devices, but does changing the option in config on the playback tab "Hardware decoder device" to None-use software decoding" solve it?
