Hi sub!
I mentioned this before, as you publiced the 0.99.5 Version of GB-PVR. Since this upgrade, which went really fine (no error, no changes) i have problems of playing back some .avi Files.
The problem ist: Nearly 95% of tries, to playback a .avi File produces a crash of gb-pvr, but nothing is to see in den debuglogs. Instead the error-report of windows wants to tell this error to microsoft.
But SOMETIMES, if i have LUCK, THEN..., yes THEN i can playback an .avi file.
To give you an idea of my system, i write down my configuration:
GeForce 7900 GT (Primary Adapter, for CRT and working and gaming)
GeForce 6150 (Secondary Adapter, for LCD and GB-PVR only)
I am using the VMR Mode with latest NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder and enabled DxVA (it's working, tested).
The movies are all ripped by myself and maked NEVER problems @ playback since the step-up to 0.99.5.
And the fantastic thing: I enabled the debug logging, provocated these behaviours but NOTHING was to see in the logs. Just crash and error report.
The movies have all the same size (720 x 576), but different aspect ratios like 1,33:1, 1,66:1, 1,85:1 and 2,35:1
Sub, i need your help. Just tell me, how i can get support from you, so that you can make your own image of this. I don't have useful logs. Could it be, that i have for every movie an picture? They are in format .jpg and are sized 756 x 1080 @ 72 dpi.
Mhm, mhm... all is crazy. If you shouldn't have an idea, i have to try a new installation.
