The PC I use for gbpvr lives in a cupboard and has no monitor attached. So when I need to tinker (!) with it, I connect to it via remote desktop.

The problem I have, is if I stop gbpvr, when I try and start it again it will start using my RDP session as its display, rather than my TV. I can workaround this issue by rebooting, whereupon it'll start up properly on the TV, but I'd rather not reboot every time. How can I make sure it starts on the TV even if I'm connected via RDP?

Thanks

Jon.

use vnc Big Grin
Actually, i don't think there are any options with RDP to ensure it stays on the primary display. I think that's the nature of the beast. Maybe someone else may know more

try the following: map a button on your remote to gbpvr.exe & push that button after you have ended the remote desktop connection. if that doesn't work you'll have to take carlito's way Wink

Aha, I'd not thought about VNC.

I'll try the remote button idea, too.

UltraVNC works well plus it also has a built in file transfer. I can be at work and transfer files from my GBPVR machine back and forth to my PC at work. I can also start and stop GBPVR and also reboot it.
