Whenever I play a video the captions are always on. I can turn subtitles on and then I have two sets of words. This hasn't occurred before with any of the other versions. Has anyone else had this problem.
I am running GBPVR 99.05

I'm guessing you've installed vobsub, or some other external subtitle player. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

I had the same problem until I downloaded the NVidia codec and now it's fine. It even happened when I played the DVD from WMP. Based on my recent experience I'd say it's a codec problem.

I'm guessing its something to do with the Sonic decoders you're using for DVD playback. Try some other decoders instead.

Thanks Sub. I tried the new Nvidia codec and it got rid of the captions but I've lost the sound now. I will get it right yet. Thanks for the help.
