This is my entire data dump The old LNBs are called "legacy" lnbs. You can tell because they don't say "DP or DishPro" on them. A legacy is a good one and very universal for the US. I use LOF1= 11250 mhz, 0 =switch and O =LOF 2. (you will see these in config) The dual looks at one satellite and has two outputs for two satellite boxes or cards. Do you have a Dish 500 dish? If you do, then you can add the second LNB, otherwise, I think the Dish 300 only can have one. One is plenty to have for now to get you up and running.
Good luck and have fun. Let us know if you get everything up and running.
