"Record Season" problem if epsiode name is given

Hi!

When the no. of the epsiode is also given in the series name (e.g. "King Of Queens Epsiode 5" instead of just "King Of Queens&quot it is not possible to shedule the whole season for recording, as only "King Of Queens Epsiode 5" would match.
What can I do to setup a season recod timer that matches "King Of Queens" only, as I want to record all Seasons of this Season, not just episode 5 and its recurrences.

BTW, I'am using XMLTV and the german tvtoday plugin to get the EPG informatons.

hm, as long as no one gives me a hint how to solve that, i'll cut of the extra info in XMLTV file with this command (right after my daily update of XMLTV):

cat temp.xml|sed -e"s/ [1234567890]*. Teil//i" > a.xml

[sub]

The only way GB-PVR can identify shows is by name, and to GB-PVR these are not the same title, so cant be part of same series. I've never seen the episode name used as part of the title, so that must be an oddity of your local XMLTV grabber. Most places will explicity put this in the episode number field, or subtitle, or description.

I think'll you need to perform you sed script on the data.

really...? thats bad, as tvtoday does this massivly
