Yes it was hard for me to find as I am doing a lot of testing and one of my tests , I normally delete ALL of gamezonezone and all the supporting files, registry and config entries. This prevented me from seeing the problem untill I got your "pathlist" file.

Oh well as the test team at work say it can take years to fully test a system. and although this is far less complex a day testing is not enough.

I think with the amount of faults being discovered its about right, I capture most faults before it is sent out and relatively few faults are making it to the released versions

Firstly, wonderful plug in. It is really helping to round out my media box.
But, I'm having an issue with Nes Roms where I receive an error when trying to load them about "the field being to small"... for the amount of data trying to be inserted or pasted.... can't remember the exact wording. But it suggests to try inserting or pasting less data. .... I'm not even sure where to begin to look to trouble shoot this, as these roms work fine when loaded through nestopia outside of gbpvr.
Any ideas?

I am assuming from what you have sent; that you already have ePSXe setup on your PC and you are now trying to install the GameZone plugin?

Please can you confirm this is the case and then I will do some testing of this scenario to see what could be causing the problem

Thanks

Hi could I ask that you provide me with a copy of your gbpvr.exe.log.

first restart gbpvr - so there is a clean minimum log file
go straight to gamezone and select a ROM that causes the issue and then after the error close down GBPVR and send me the log.

I have seen this error previously during development it is to do with the ROM being added to the favourites database but I thought I had removed all the likely causes of the issue - obviously not for everyone :-)

The log will help me pin point which field is causing the issue

Thanks

[EDIT] I have had a quick look and I suspect its the arguament field, as Nes has VERY long command-line switches and their is a limit of 255 characters for the maximum argument length, I am very interested in your log files.

hi, don't know if it is fixed yet...i encountered a strange problem with the n64-support of your plugin.

the config-app fails when i try to add a directory for the n64-roms. it searches for %gbpvr%\gamezone\kega\n64 which doesn't exist. if i add that directory and run the config app another time, it works. then i run gbpvr, enter gamezone, find n64 and no roms inside. so i copied the files from the kega\n64-folder over to the n64-folder and it worked.

thanks!

Hi dottore,

I responded in your thread regarding the skinning you were doing.
I believe the issue is resolved if you use the patch 0.5a which can be found in the Wiki, if that doesnt work please advise and I will at the issue again

Thanks

I deleted the registry entries for ePSXe and all worked well. I guess I had it previously installed.
