1) Ability to specify default sort mode in skin.xml (ctrl-g toggles it)
2) ^b shows filename. When using GB-PVR's native Recordings menu item to play a recording, ^b shows the show name and episode data.

Please fix the manual option of XRecord, channel selection seems to be not working.

Also, please include ability to display more than 8 items.

Good news on this one. As mentionned in this post, I just fixed a bunch of skinnng problems on sourceforge. There are a couple more fixes I want to make first, then there will be a new release.

Can you give replication steps for this problem? If I can reproduce it, I'll try to fix it.

Oh, just choose Manual on the list on the left, try to change channel, you won't be able to change, I've been trying but won't work, whether on the MVP or on GBPVR machine

It works for me. I looked at the code and tried to imagine what you are getting. The only thing I can come up with is that xrecord can't read the channel database. I simulated a channel database read failure on my system by hacking the code. Does your screen look like the first or second image. I couldn't change the channel, quality, record type or name prefix in that hacked version either.

If that sounds like what you're getting we have to look at your database. Is it Access or sqlite? Maybe you could send me your database with http://www.transferbigfiles.com or something.

2007-03-13: Images removed: For the record he was seeing the 2nd image (the empty channels table from gbpvr.db3).

2nd pic is the one I am seeing, am using SQLite. Will try to send database, but unfortunately, am of tweaking the channels. If it still happens after the upgrade, I'll send the database over. We are talking of the gbpvr.db3 database, yes?

Yes, XRecord populates that screen by using gbpvr.db3. I'll PM you my email address so you can send gbpvr.db3 to me using http://www.transferbigfiles.com if the problem is still there after your tweaking/upgrade. BTW XRecord 0.47 is on the wiki since yesterday.

Hi, just sent you my gbpvr.db3 file for checking, re: manual scheduling using XRecord.

Thanks.

#1 is in XRecord 0.49 (actually it's in the config app, not the skin)
#2 is in XRecord 0.47f
