I cant see an obvious cause in the logs.
Does it do this same thing everytime you try, regardless of channel? (probably worth restarting GB-PVR between attempts)

Yes, it is the same problem with all channels. As mentioned above, channel DR2 sems to be working, but I'm pretty sure DR2 is sending the subtitles in a different way. I'll try testing by restarting GBPVR sometimes...

Sorry, I dont know. I'm not sure why you'd be getting this.

I'm also getting the same error while trying to view DVB subtitles.
"Attempted to read or write protected memory. this is often an indication that other memory is corrupt" I'm using a Technotrend C-1500 DVB-C card with the Cyberlink mux and mpeg codecs. I've also set the preferred subtitle language config.xml to "fin". I would really like to get the DVB subtitles to work, because while the teletext subtitles do work, they seem to be a bit laggy and cause a lot of frameskipping in Live TV (on a Duron 2400+, Radeon 9250, 512 mb ram). I've attached the logs and the config.xml file.

Same problem that I've been having since 99.05...

I'll look into it when DVB subtitles start transmission here in New Zealand in the near future.

Any news on this issue? I'm having the exact same problem
(Also from Denmark)

Still not yet transmitting DVB Subtitles in New Zealand, so I havnt bothered looking into it. Hopefully early next month - May 2nd freeview digital launches in NZ.
Maybe info from this site can help you sub
http://www.nordig.org/ ---------------------------------------------------------- Another thing. Settings in config.xml <PreferredSubtitleLanguage>dan</PreferredSubtitleLanguage> <PreferredDvbEpgLanguage>dan</PreferredDvbEpgLanguage> <SecondarySubtitleLanguage>dan</SecondarySubtitleLanguage> after the change it still displays english in system settings? |
