I decided to shelve my AIW 9700 Pro and use the Geforce 2 Integrated GPU that's on my Asus A7N-266VM. I'm using the 93.71 Forceware drivers from October 2006.
I have Intervideo's codec from WinDVR 3 as well as Cyberlink's PowerDVD 6 installed. The Intervideo looks good in GBPVR but uses up 80% or so most of the CPU time. PowerDVD looks good on its own if I force bob, but playback is jittery through GBPVR and deinterlacing is poor. Full screen playback hovers around 20% CPU time.
For the deinterlacing options in Cyberlink I selected "Specify Manually", "Always perform deinterlacing", and "Bob". When I use the GBPVR configuration menu I choose "Bob".
Of course my goal here is to get the same playback in GBPVR as I do when PowerDVD is playing back one of my recordings directly.
