Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, got sidetracked with work!
Logs are attached. For reference, I played (in PVRX2) a file called test.x264.mkv. Stopped it. Put the computer into hibernate, took it out of hibernate then tried to play the same file again, asking it to resume playback.
As mentioned previously, audio plays back as it should but there is no picture, only a black screen.
I've tried this. It seems to work maybe once but then fails subsequently?
In other words, the first file I play after coming out of hibernate I can pause and unpause to get the picture back, but if I stop that file and try a different once it doesn't work.
BobBuilder Wrote:Sub, have you managed to repeat this issue?
I still have the same issue with FSE, after standby there is audio but no video.
I did spend several hours looking into this yesteday, but unfortunately no fix at this stage.
PVRX2.exe is fine at reinitialising itself when in the regular VMR9 Custom mode, but like GBPVR.exe has problems returning from hibernation when in FSE mode. As far as I can see its doing all the right stuff, and the menu updates are working fine, but unfortunately the VMR9 component doesnt seem reinitialise correctly. I'm not sure why.
I know a workaround is not the same as fixing it, but I've added a reasonably nice clean restart that happens (if in FSE mode) as app receives focus for the first after waking from a lower power state. This can result in seeing the desktop for a couple of seconds, but seems to work pretty well in my tests.
