Dscaler5 decoder question/problem

I am trying out the Dscaler5 decoder and a have a couple questions. I am trying this on a laptop with intel950 integrated graphics in an attempt to get that computer to run pvrx2. This decoder has given me the best results so far when running pvrx2, however my video is still slightly choppy (frame rate seems slow). When I hit the video decoder settings button under the playback tab in config, there is a few second pause and then the config shuts down (box just disappears). I was hoping to be able to tweak this decoder to get pvrx2 working on my system.

One related note...with this decoder, I have better luck with pvrx2.exe than pvrx2.exe -fse. This is opposite from all the other decoders I have tried (intervideo, cyberlink, mainconcept, gpl).

I also noticed that my cpu usage up a little ~65% compared to other decoders ~50%. In addition my when I play back a recording the video is really dark until I move the mouse.
