Ok my recordings seem to be fine but i get stutterring and a slight look of dropped frames in playback. Ive tried several mpeg2 decoders im using the PVR 150 and still same results. Could a slow harddisk be a cause? or is there something else i should be looking at.

Could be a number of reasons.
- Is your setup above the minimum specs that sub has indicated (I think you need at least a 1Gig CPU).
- Have you defragged your harddrive?
- Is the machine dedicated to GB-PVR or are you using it for other things at the same time?
- Does it happen when you use the Hauppauge software for playback, or just with GB-PVR?

the machine is an Athlon 64 3800+ dedicated as a pvr the drive is defragged and no it doesnt occurr in wintv or any of the other apps. Using ffdshow causes the picture to hang but audio plays fine. It could also be seen as like a bouncing on certain objects in the scene im thinking an interlacing error or something.
