I know this worked in the past, but now does not.

i have dual Dell 2407WFP-HC's and I like GBPVR to be on monitor #2.

This is possible in windowed more, however if I uncheck windowed mode, it only pops up on monitor #1 even though the "start on second monitor" is checked.

Even if I uncheck that, it still starts on monitor #1, which no difference.

Thoughts?

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach your logs.

Using gbpvr.exe

Start on Second Monitor: Unchecked
Open in Windowed Mode: Unchecked

I should add that both times I closes GB-PVR using the exit button, the program crashed.

The "Do you want to send this report to MS? type of crash.

Using gbpvr.exe

Start on Second Monitor: Checked (greyed out)
Open in Windowed Mode: Checked

This opened on second monitor, but as noted in a windowed state, other two above opened on monitor #1 in a non-windowed state

gbpvr.exe crashed here also when I pressed exit.

Also a note, I had to stop the recording and tray tasks both times so I could get the logs, as they were being used when I tried to zip it without ending those tasks.

One thing to be aware of is that GB-PVR has always assumed that the second monitor is to the right of the primary monitor. If its not setup this way then the 'start on second monitor' function wont work.

You're probably talking about the long standing problem where the user can get a crash message if they start GB-PVR then exit nearly immediately, before the EPG finishes loading in the background.

Its done this for about a year and half (since SQLite DB was introduced), but unfortunately isnt an error I can capture .net because of the way the error that occurs in the SQLite native code.

The obvious work around is to not exit immediately. The only people that tend to notice this problem is those that are tinkering - starting and stopping the app lots etc.

Monitor #1 in on left, Monitor #2 is on right, when I press identify in settings, it also comes up this way.

I had essentially the same problem.
Try PVRX2.exe rather than GB-PVR.exe or drop the resolution of your primary (#1) monitor to 1600x1200 or lower and see what happens.
