Lose Remote Control While Playing Divx

While playing a DIVX file from the video library the remote control is completely useless. None of the remote control buttons work, including exit. The remote becomes useable again as soon as the divx is over and has exited. I tried using the keyboard shortcuts too and they don't work either. Is there a setting to change?

Have a look around in your divx settings or for a utility to remove the divx system tray icon... It steals the focus of the screen.

actually I thought heard that the newer version of divx contained a way of doing this anyway... but I could be wrong.

That did it. I found a check box to remove it, and it works now.

Where is the check box?? I can't seem to find it. I have divx version 6.6
