I am making a fresh install of BG-PVR. I have a DvicoHDTV DVB-T Plus card installed which I have previously used ok in another PC running GB-PVR.
I have selected the BDA Recording Plugin and then selected Dvico Fusion DVB-T Plus from the Device Type drop-down menu.
I then select, DVB EPG Broadcast as my EPG source then GB-PVR crashes.

Do I need to have an EPG source such as an XMLTV file? I haven't configured one yet.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Also run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory and zip/attach the filtercheck.log that gets created.

OK, here is a little more info that I should have provided in my first post (sorry, I was away from my GB-PVR machine).

When I select "Only show devices detected in this machine" I get the wrong card. Instead of Dvico FusionHDTV Plus, GB-PVR detects "Fusion HDTV5RT Gold ATSC".
I leave "Fusion HDTV5RT Gold ATSC" selected. With this setting, I am unable to select Australia as a region. So I let the scan start with all regions selected, but no channels are found.

I now select Dvico Fusion DVB-T Plus, then Australia|Central Coast as my region.
The message "GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured . . .Reason, failed to locate configured BDA capture device." is displayed.
I then click OK and get a "Digital Channel Mapping" error message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Looking at my filtercheck log file and bda.ini file, I noticed that see why GB-PVR is detecting the wrong card.

In my filtercheck log file:

Code:
19:35:34.954    INFO    Checking KSCATEGORY_BDA_NETWORK_TUNER filters
19:35:34.954    INFO    found: FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner1
19:35:34.954    INFO     - (input)  Input0

Take note that this file lists BDA Tuner1

In my bda.ini file:

Code:
[Dvico Fusion DVB-T PLUS]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

[Dvico Fusion T1]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

[Fusion HDTV5 RT Gold (ATSC)]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
FILTER_TUNER=FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner1
FILTER_CAPTURE=FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture1
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Note that this file lists BDA Tuner1 for the Gold (ATSC) card. I guess this is the reason for the incorrect detection.
Is there a solution for this? Can I edit the files?

There are also errors in the logs, so I will zip them and send them.

Thanks in advance.

Try adding the following:

[Dvico HDTV DVB-T Plus]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=FusionHDTV, BDA Tuner1
FILTER_CAPTURE=FusionHDTV, Transport Stream Capture1
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Let me know how you get on.

Cheers - I'll apply those updates to the master files.
