I tried the new version, and it works really good ! Much easier to use now with this auto mode, certainly via the MVP.

They were pretty much your suggestions. Thanks for all your input.

this is with the latest burndvdx2 release. Am I right in assuming that this includes that latest skiptool?

Burndvdx2 doesn't have the transcode queue so I'm not sure what you mean there. At any rate, the latest version of skipeditor is included in burndvdx2 where skipeditor is the popup that allows editing skip pairs.

I didn't try all of stattik's modes out but I'll look to make sure I implemented it the way he asked. What three parameters did you select?

Will this plugin remove the commercials by outputting to new file? I always run the following "comclean.cmd" file by Start->Run->cmd

@echo off
Rem comclean.bat Version 0.0.6
Rem Adapt to your framerate times 100 (PAL=2500/NTSC=2997)
set framerate=2997
Rem Adapt to where mpgtx.exe can be found
set mpgtx="f:\mpgtx.exe"

rem Initialize the variables
set start=0
set duration=0

rem Set the command line start
set cmdline=%mpgtx% -j -f -o "%~dpn1_clean.mpg" "%~dpn1.mpg"
set cutpoints=

rem Process all the lines from the Comskip output file
for /F "usebackq tokens=1,2,3*" %%i in ("%~dpn1.txt") do call :processline %%i %%j
rem Output last clip
call :totime %start%
set cmdline=%cmdline% [%tim%-]
echo Resulting cutpoints: %cutpoints%
rem echo %cmdline% >"%~dpn1.bat"
rem echo exit >>"%~dpn1.bat"
rem start /wait /low call "%~dpn1.bat"
@echo on
%cmdline%
@echo off
echo Resulting cutpoints: %cutpoints%
Rem RENAME the old .mpg file and rename the new one to the old name
if DEFINED cutpoints move "%~dpn1.mpg" "%~dpn1_original.mpg"
if DEFINED cutpoints move "%~dpn1_clean.mpg" "%~dpn1.mpg"
rem exit
goto :eof

:processline
rem Skip useless lines
set arg=%1
if "%arg:~0,4%"=="FILE" goto :eof
if "%arg:~0,4%"=="----" goto :eof

rem Output the clip information for the show part
set /a length=%1-%start%
set /a duration=%duration%+%length%
call :totime %duration%
set cutpoints=%cutpoints% %tim%

if "%1"=="0" goto :nostartshow
call :totime %start%

Yes using mencoder. It recodes the file but is still fairly fast.
However, Stattik's batch file does not remove the old file by default or remove the comskip files. There are a couple lines in the batch that fix that up. I didn't want to release it set that way.
I would run it without modifying stattik's batch and then if it does what you want then change it.

Hi Pastro-

Just installed your skiptool, looks good.

I have a question about the transcode function though. After installing, I don't have the two buttons listing "Stattiks's bat" or "VLC". I looked and there is no scriptoptions.txt file in the plugin directory. Did I do something wrong on the install?

In the testversion the scriptoptions.txt was installed in and used from the \skin2\blue\skiptool directory, so it may still be installed there.

Ah crap, I put the file in the right directory but there wasn't a wildcard in the install script.

here is the file that goes in the plugins/skiptool dir
I'll fix the install also.
EDIT: Install is fixed. Anyone that downloaded 1.0.0.6 previous to the time of this post needs to either redownload or save the scriptoptions.txt to the plugins/skiptool directory.

xvid/mpeg2 2pass
no parameter (IVTC)
can't remember - possibly no parameter

anyhow I did an xvid single pass and it converted perfectly. I have just tried to reproduce the problem but I can't and I have since deleted the mpeg that was failing so it's probably best to ignore this until I can repro the problem reliably.

thanks again for both burndvdx2 and skiptool, I am using them most evenings now to free up some space.

I just added 2 transcodes to the queue, ran runqueue and both mencoder processes have started running at the same time.

I think you should always use parameters for stattik's scripts for all three options. I believe you need the third option so the second one has to be there so it reads the 3rd correctly.
I put the no parameter in for people to be able to extend the queuing. Like running mpg2srt or comskip where you might only need the filename as the parameter.

Glad to hear it's working out ok.
