Is there some way to play a whole genre,rather than having to go into a single album to play it? I like to be able to random play a whole genre.... when I can't be bothered scheduling a whole bunch of single albums to play.

Have you looked at the Music Library 2 plugin. Does what you want and and much more...

GB-PVR's builtin Music Library screen is a pretty simple file base music player. It doesnt know anything about genres etc, so cant do what you're after.

As ACTCMS mentioned, try the Music Library 2 plugin.
