I am really new - but I have gotten dreamdvb and mediaportal to work. I really like the look of GBPVR and would like to try it. I can't get the program to find my card - a technisat skystar 2. The drivers are 4.4.1 -- I think they're bda drivers.

Thanks -

when you selected card
did you
1.select digital recording plugin
2. tick the box that says "only shows devices detected on this machine"

Run filtercheck.exe and zip and post the resulting filtercheck.log

There are no DirectShow capture devices found on your system, BDA or analog. Try reinstalling the drivers.

It seems odd -- the card works with DreamDvb and MediaPortal. I will reload them anyway.

Thanks -

There were two sets of drivers on the installation disk -- this time I made sure to install the bda drivers and sure enough it showed up.

Thanks --

Scott
