You should probably also explicitly set the H.264 decoder, rather than relying on 'system default'.
.net 2.0 or higher should be fine.

Hi, the AAC decoder you provided fixed the issue thanks
I have been having some problems with pause, fast forward, back etc...but think I may have fixed these by messing with the video and audio decoders and converting recordings to DivX. Still not 100% on a file that is currently recording though...will press on. Any ideas? One thing I havent been able to fix is that I only seem to get an hour of EPG when I do an update...so basically what is currently on. Could this be due to a weak signal or setting? If I could fix this it would be great but I come from a MCE xmltvnz background so I can get the giude data the other way Cheers for your help on this...you must be busy

You'll need to look at options like one of the numerous NZ xmltv utilities (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=30586 or xmltvnz or dvbtoxmltv if you have a DVB-S card etc). The DVB-S version of freeview carries the full 7 day epg.

Cheers Sub...and thanks to Xanth for djkxml - works perfect!
Just thought I would write to say I have fixed the pause, ffwd etc problems by installing this patch - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919071 This also allowed me to stop converting recordings to DivX. All is working perfect. Now it's time for some plugins...donation coming your way Thanks again |
