I was able to install GBPVR without a problem. When I check the box that says to only recognize capture devices on the machine, GBPVR will not recognize my Skystar 2 card.

I'm using the beta drivers located here :

hxxp://www.technisat.com/index3eee.html?nav=Software_Drivers,en,39&download=detail&produktID=1281

I've read through the quickstart guide but I'm not sure what to do in order to get the software to recognize my card. BTW, the card IS recognized by the technisat drivers and software application that installed with the drivers.

Do you have the BDA drivers or proprietary WDM drivers installed? GB-PVR only works with the BDA drivers. I'm guessing you have the WDM drivers.

How can I check that ? This driver installer just installs, there is no option to check the type of driver to install.

I dont have a Skystar2, so couldnt tell you anything about the software they make available, but if you run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, then attach the filtercheck.log, I'll tell you if it has BDA drivers or not.

The Technisat driver package has a folder inside called BDA but the auto install doesn't install anything.

Thanks, that worked. I needed to roll back the driver and then install the BDA driver from the folder. It looks like the BDA was not the default install driver.
