Thanks for the info. I added those lines in, and tried them both. Both of them will initialize the stick, but neither of them will find any channels. It is the same problem I had before.

Any other ideas? I'm feeling more and more sorry that I bought a Pinnacle stick.
Take a look at the last two posts on page 3 of this thread regarding the ATSCMode setting. If you are lucky, it may apply to you.

whurlston, I tried looking for that as well. I can't find anywhere in the registry that has that setting.

sub, I am attaching my log files.

There is no sign of any errors in the logs, but he device fails to lock onto any signal.

Just to reassure any Pinnacle 801e-SE owner - it works with GB-PVR.

Checking the "show only detected devices", the 801e doesn't show. Selecting "HD Stick Pro (QAM)" from the detected device list, it works and scans fine. Perhaps it is because recent GB-PVR release fixed whatever problem.

Scan found most channels with the HD Stick Pro (QAM) setting. It is not issue free, some channels (Comcast/NJ) scan inconsistently. A couple of frequencies (channel 27 & 63) sometimes show up on scan and sometime not. I scanned it many times to ensure I got all the channels.
